Features of the "rapid" Filtermax

  • large square filter area of 49 cm2 and 69 cm2 respectively is 20 % larger than with similar volume units with round membranes
  • premium PES filter membrane, pore size of 0.22 µm or 0.1 µm
  • high flow rate
  • low protein binding, excellent chemical resistance
  • safe footprint: the stable sauare footprint makes it difficult to tip over during filtration, eliminating the risk of the filter unit bbeing encased by the vacuum tubing
  • square shape holds media more efficiently with less wasted space than round bottles

  • the tapered shape of the neck allows  large and small hands to grip the „rapid“-Filtermax system securely and without slipping – even when wearing rubber gloves
  • a separately packaged screw cap and adapter for the vacuum connection hose with an internal diameter of Ø 6 – 10 mm (2.36 – 3.94 inches) is supplied with each system
  • full buyer flexibility: Choice of filter set, bottle top or flask only, all provided with a GL-45 screw thread

Recommendations and Information
  • TPP recommends filling the liquid into the filter first and then applying the vacuum.
  • Filter tops and flasks are graduated; the units are supplied sterile and ready to use with a pump or pressure tank.
