1. A click and the “VENT” screw cap is locked in the aeration-position.

2. Turn “VENT” screw cap clockwise 90° to close the flask gas-tight.

Filter Membrane in Filter Screw Cap

The filter screw caps feature a hydrophobic PTFE membrane with a pore size of 0.22 μm.

This offers protection - as with her hydrophogic characteristics it repells any fluid - with sterile continuous gas exchange at the same time.
